納克索斯島Naxos是繼 Mykonos, Santorini後，我最喜愛的小島，一個發展比較完盡善的度蜜月天堂。 雖遊人絡繹不絕,但沒有米島那麼樣市儈及商業化；碼頭咐近有很多食店、商店，十分方便。無論酒店或食店也比米島便宜。

I have discovered one jewels of the Cylades after staying so boring in Syros for over a month. I have just gone to an island called Naxos for two days, an island  popular to the international tourist.  Maybe you have already heard of it !

Naxo 歷史悠久, 從前被威尼斯帝國統治, 威尼斯時代在島上建造不少堡壘

Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades, first settled in 3000 BC. A Major centre of the Cyclades civilization, it was one of the first island to use marbles. 
Naxos fell to the Venetians in 1207, there are numerious fortified towers were built.

我自己獨自乘船先來探路, 發現島上活動包羅萬有，有古蹟、有海灘，動靜隹宜。

除了行路可的地標門閂外，也可以在碼頭咐近Joint tour看看古蹟、參觀酒廠及

到島另一端的魚村吃海鮮。


The island is well organised for the tourist especially individual tourists. There are many Archaelogical sites ,  adifferent types fom Acropolis and Delos. A tour around the island were organised by several agents to see the villages and visit some old churches, pottery workshop and a wine distiller.

原本是一個寧靜小魚村的Apollon，現今已變為resort，夏天來遊山玩水，
 
在fish taverns 吃海鮮, 看看那尊600 bc, 有10.5米長、30ton重的古巨人像。

在Melanes Valley 有二尊巨人像Kouros, 一尊成8米長另一後5.5米長，

分別橫躺在一私人花園及田野閂間上。
 
For beach goers, many choices,  there are at least three to four white golden sandy beaches on the western coast of the island. They are at least 4-5 Km long and  many people having sunbath on the beach, topless.  Taverns are found along the coast starting from St Anna Bay.

On the day of arrival , I've already decided to stay for at least four day due to the activites offered on the island. Then, I decided to leave on the second day as I have to take teddy bear here personally. He deserved to enjoy staying in such a  wonderful island. Besides, I need to go back and collect my clothes/short sleeves T- shirt and gear for the wind surfing!! Yes, it was still cool in the day here but getting warmer and warmer.

 

 

There are so many activities for everyone, such as for sight seeing, for those who love water sports, for those who just want to stay on the nud beach and 'gub ye'......There are  excursions to 1 Delos and Myconos, 2. Santorini, 3.minor Cyclades Island. 

在 St George Bay 有風帆活動中心，這海岸水活水淺沙幼別適合風帆活動。

On one of the beach to the town, St George Bay, there is a good water sport centre which run by germans, they provide courses for  wind surfing and  catamaran. Also there are  other  water activites that you can name. www.www.flisvos-sportclub.com

 

島上住宿豐儉由人, 平假渡假村, 至亳華酒店不同選擇!

 

In fact, there is different accodmodations offered on the island, 15 euros with a nice room with kitchnette and bathroom (no airconditoning) for budget travellers or 35  euros for double room with air conditioning .  

 呢個小島超好玩, 好健康!

For Food, if you are feed up with greek food, there are Asian restaurant (Thai, Indian and chinese - really good but not runned by chinese nor thai nor vietnamese!!, Tex- mexican - Spanish restaurant are also recommended by many guide books in the town. Live music in the Pubs and bar in the evening, internet cafe, horse riding on the beach  is available  for all levels from 4:30 until 8:30pm.
