康城位于法國南部的里维埃拉 ，鄰近地中海，人口(至2000年)約7萬人， 有一漂亮海灘，也是康城电影節的所在地，不少小明星都會趁機會到這個鬼地 方----沙滩露面，無它為搏出镜耶！
Cannes was built on the site of ancient Ligurian city, on an elevation that slopes down the edge of the Gulf of Napoule as with a backdrop of the Assife of L'Esterel,it was sheltered by the surrounding hills, this privileged area enjoys a mild and temperate climate.
It was Lord Brougham, British lord Chancellor put Cannes on the map in 1834 when he stopped on his way to Nice. He immeditaely fallen in love with the climate of this little fishing village. He builta villaand started a trend for uper-class English visitors.
Among the famous festivals held here, International Festival of Cinema which makes Cannes one of the most celebrated cities in the world.
水晶晶到康城大多是在秋冬季，因夏天太擠擁,
有著無盡型男美女， 到處名人靚車，娥娜多姿，
每個晚上更是衣香繽影，燈紅酒綠, 好一個奢華世界, , 多姿多采的生活但那不是我杯茶，太虛榮!!
康城火車站--由尼斯坐火車到康城比坐巴士快捷, 可以慳返D時間,
坐火車大約30分鐘就可以從尼斯到達康城, 不過當然較貴啦！
另一便宜可以選擇坐巴士200號 , 不過屬超長途龜速巴士,
坐成兩個鐘 , 有次泰狄熊出差水晶晶本著遊車河心態一試,
真係瞓醒幾覺都未到! 因為會行小路, 經附近的沿岸小鎮
Cagne sur Mer, Cannet 等,
Boulevard with Palm Trees
還有更多花園豪宅在半山
康城有不少優雅脫俗的六星級洒店, 建築風格可比美巴黎,
Hotel Martinique, Hotel Carlton..
我倆通常由東邊海邊入城,經過 Palm Beach Casino
適逢第六十界康城影展明天正式開幕，聽聞嘖們的黃家衛導演那套藍莓夜於開幕禮播放，法國人比我們香港人更欣賞及愛戴黃大導啊！
Palais des Festivals
康城影展的會場，與現今的繁華世界好像不對稱，
畢竟是己是六十年的盛事了！第一個感覺就係: 吓?!
香港藝術中心,演藝學院與沙田大會堂, 甚至屯門大會堂
也比這國際盛事的會場Grand 同宏偉, 原來是被星光包裝,
平日這般難看與平凡。
一月份水晶晶與一位由香港來的朋友 B 一起到康城，
那天風和日麗，很多老人家也走出戶外享受和暖的陽光，
他們有的在看報紙，有的在閒話家常！
我們選了一所在沙灘上的餐廳，是午餐15 歐元!
沒有如一般港人到海鮮店吃生蠔,Seafood platter,
我們會點選些自己不會做的菜菜式試下,
因在家裡有兩打生蠔 fines de claires no°3 等著,
通常我們會在家樂福買海鮮回家大快朵頤，
(哈哈！唔使一頸血)！
朋友 B選了 Foie Gras + 地道菜青口= 11 + 15 歐元
水晶晶選了 a la carte- 帶子配龍蝦仔 26 歐元
Iles Des Lerins
two islands - Il Ste Maguerite and Ils St Honorat are lying outside the coastlines of Cannes, which takes about 15 mins boat rides from Cannes. A fort St Marguerite was built under Richelieu and strenghened by Vauban in 1712. A Martiime museum on the ground floor. The two islands were separated by a narrow straits. t was once the most powerfu religious centres in the south of France.
